Frequently Asked Questions

How can I apply for an apartment?

Call our office to be pre-qualified for an apartment in our affordable housing community. We’ll then set up an appointment to complete all required paperwork on-site with our office staff. Once an appointment is set staff will inform you of the items needed to complete your application.

What if I am not ready to apply? What other options are there?

If you are not ready to apply, you can call and be placed on our community wait-list.

How accessible is the management at the local office?

Our community staff is available during office hours to assist you with any questions or issues you may have. You can also email us anytime and we will respond during normal business hours. All of our communities offer 24-hour emergency maintenance (simply call the phone number you’re given upon move-in).

Will I be allowed to sublet my apartment?

No, subleasing your apartment home is prohibited.

What fees will I have to pay if I break my lease?

Depending on your specific circumstances and the reason for breaking your lease, the fees may vary. Please discuss this with someone in our community leasing office.

What do you look for in the application?

We use a company called RealPage to process all of our applications. RealPage is a third-party, independent screening service. They look at credit, leasing history, and employment history to come up with an applicant’s score. You don’t necessarily need perfect credit in order to be approved; one of the important considerations is any history of evictions or outstanding utility bills.

Does it cost to take a tour?

Absolutely not! There is no charge to view our model unit and/or vacant apartments and community amenities – all you need to bring is a valid photo ID. We look forward to showing you around our beautiful property!

What is the renter’s insurance policy?

Our community does not require renter’s insurance; although, we strongly suggest that you acquire insurance to protect yourself and your belongings.

Are pets allowed?

We are not a pet friendly apartment community, but we do allow service animals with proper documentation.

What will we do to prepare your apartment before move-in?

- Before you arrive, our team of property management professionals will be very busy preparing your new home. Our professional staff will:

- Paint the walls for a fresh, clean look.

- Clean all the floors and shampoo the carpets.

- Completely sanitize your kitchen and your bathrooms.

- Clean your kitchen appliances - inside and out - and inspect them to ensure everything is in top working order.

- Clean and test your energy efficient heating and air conditioning systems to ensure everything is operating efficiently.
